METASTASIS INITIATING CELLS

We have identified critical regulators of breast cancer metastasis. We want to understand the molecular mechanisms that govern metastasis formation including signals from the microenvironment.

AGING AND BREAST CANCER RISK

We are interested in studying molecular changes in mammary stem cells during aging and how they affect breast cancer risk. We employ single cell transcriptomic to study changes in populations during aging

TRASCRIPTIONAL HETEROGENEITY IN NORMAL AND CANCER STEM CELLS.

We are interested in functionally studying novel regulators that regulate transcriptional heterogeneity. Our workflow uses a combination of single cell technologies, computational methods and organoid assays.
